News affects our everyday lives in some way shape or form. Whether it's a car crash that keeps you stranded on the highway, or Toronto City Council makes a decision about bike lanes, it affects us all. This is why I love the field of journalism.

 

Pursuing news stories gives me an adrenaline rush. There's nothing like going out and talking to people at the centre of major news stories, such as Mayor Rob Ford, Mayoral Candidates Olivia Chow and Doug Ford.

 

I enjoy telling these stories and informing people about what's happening in their daily lives. Everyone deserves to know the inside story and what is happening in and around their city. I am proud to tell these stories. This is why I am a Journalist.
